“OF THE EARTH”

In an attempt to honor the history of our beautiful building, the third Mellon Bank building ever built, we pay homage to its past! The colors of the restaurant represent both Mellon Bank and Citizen’s Bank, who occupied the space before us. We chose period correct lighting and finishes from 1940 to bring it all together!

Della Terra which translates to “of the earth” transforms the essence of a small town eatery. Centrally located in historic downtown Zelienople, our goal is to capture the warmth and comfort of an Italian trattoria.  Executive Chef and Zelienople native Rich Burns reinterprets the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that pulls inspiration from the Italian cooking tradition to create meaningful food, celebrating the restaurant’s ongoing relationship with its local family of farmers and suppliers.

Della Terra is open continuously throughout the day, serving an ever changing roster of pasta, pizza, entrees, snacks and daily dishes. With a beautiful bar, we welcome a late night atmosphere, offer a daily happy hour, and also serve the finest locally roasted coffee. Views of the wood burning oven and kitchen further enhance your dining experience.

Della Terra Italian Bistro offers an extensive wine selection chosen by the owner Michelle Moletz. Should you choose to bring your own wine, the corkage fee is $25 per 750mL bottle. Please contact the restaurant with any question
